Subhash Chandra Bose & Bahadur Shah Zafar

What is common in these two great personalities of undivided India that the posterity chose to forget them? They remain enigmatic as they remained unsung, despite their internal battles and external wars.
Their spirit was undying and unconditional but how cruel their motherland :मातृभूमि: has been to them - they both did not get rest in their motherland.
One said it and the other itched to say but we did not allow him even his spiritual right !!

Bahadur Shah Zafar wrote from his Rangoon (British Burma) prison:

kitnā hé bad-naseeb zafar dafn ke liye
do gaz zamīn bhī na milī kū-e-yār méń
How unfortunate is Zafar! For his burial
Not even two yards of land were to be had, in the land of his beloved.

He died in exile on 7 November 1862. He was buried near the Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon, at the site that later became known as Bahadur Shah Zafar Dargah.

Though Subhash Bose could never have written such feelings, did he not deserve a piece of his motherland for his final resting?

His remains are preserved in Renkoji Temple in Tokyo, since September 18, 1945.
